While I thoroughly enjoy our journey into the philosophical aspects of being a founder, the time for this brief to evolve has come. 

Once a month, our newsletter will have a different subject line when we’re giving a Recap of what’s unfolding behind the scenes at New Wave.

New Wave January Recap:

Wins: 

• We’ve partnered with an amazing group of informatics students from the University of Washington. Under our sponsorship, they’ll complete their capstone project. We feel fortunate to have these incredibly bright students on the team. We will leverage their skills and expertise to continue our pursuit of building our minimum viable product. 

• We’re stoked to announce the release of a video our incredible team has made to communicate our vision to potential investors and founders. Watch here. 

• Our new and improved version of our website is in the works and will launch soon. 

• Our first official all-hands team meeting was held, and we’re establishing a flow & gaining inertia. 

• We’re continuing to make progress on our minimum viable product.

Challenges: 

• Defining, measuring, and quantifying the character traits a founder needs to succeed is a worthy challenge. While we continue to make strides, we still have a ways to go.
